Presenter: Jeffrey L. Edleson, PhD, LICSW

We were honored to have Jeffrey L. Edleson, PhD, LICSW as our conference presenter. Dr. Edleson is one of the world’s leading authorities on children exposed to domestic violence, groupwork, and program evaluation. He is the co-author of the “Greenbook” - a best practices guide that has been the subject of six federally-funded demonstration sites across the country.

This year’s one-day conference was comprised of 4 sessions relating to domestic violence:

• Session 1 - Emerging Research, Policy and Practice with Children Exposed to Domestic Violence
• Session 2 - Parenting in the Context of Domestic Violence
• Session 3 - Hands-on Case Study Breakout (Domestic Violence Intervention Strategies)
• Session 4 - Empirically Based Practice with Men Who Batter: The Simplicity of Certainty
